Almaty metropolis consolidates two-thirds of bank loans for housing in Kazakhstan, indicates a statement of Ranking.kz analytical service released Sept. 4.
"Thus, in January-July 2014 developers received bank loans worth 30.6 billion tenge ($ 1 = 182 tenge), of which 20.6 billion settled in the southern capital," a statement reported.
It is also reported that tranche loan for housing exceeded 6.2 billion tenge in July this year. The southern capital spent 80 percent of this amount (5 billion tenge). Akmola region received more than 9 percent of this amount (575 million tenge), and Almaty region received 8.6 percent (535 million tenge).
