There were 3.96 million unemployed in Turkey as of November 2014, the Turkish Statistical Institute (TurkStat) said Feb. 16.
Turkey's unemployment rate, as of this period, was 10.7 percent.
Male unemployment stood at 9.7 percent, while the unemployment among women was 13 percent.
As of Dec. 1, 2014 the population of Turkey was 77,695,904.
Some 20 percent of the total employed people in Turkey, or 5,180,000 people are employed in agriculture, 20.4 percent - in industry, 7.6 percent - in construction, and 52 percent - in other sectors of the economy.
