Japan's Mitsubishi Electric company has opened a branch in Istanbul, Milliyet newspaper reported Apr.13.
The Istanbul branch will manufacture ventilation systems. The company will start to produce ventilation systems in Turkey in 2018.
The ventilation systems will be supplied to the domestic market, as well as to the markets of the Balkan region.
Mitsubishi Electric built the 'Turksat 4B' satellite for Turkey in 2014. The satellite was launched into orbit from the Baikonur cosmodrome in Kazakhstan in 2015.
