Presentation of Special Economic Zones of Kazakhstan was held in Aktau with participation of Head of Mangistau Region Eraly Tugzhanov, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Kazakh Invest JSC Birzhan Kaneshev, investors from 12 countries and consuls of Azerbaijan, Turkey, Iran and Lithuania.
The event was intended to present 10 special economic zones of Kazakhstan, created by the decree of President Nursultan Nazarbayev to accelerate the development of regions, attract investments, and create highly efficient and competitive industries.
Special economic zones (SEZ) of Aktau, Atyrau, Shymkent, Almaty, Taraz and Pavlodar were presented during the event.
Guests from Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Malaysia, the US, Hungary and other countries, who have business contacts with Kazakh companies expressed interest in the event, showing intention for further cooperation.
