The number of insurance payments in Kazakhstan for January-July this year has amounted to 385,700, which is 2.1 times higher than the indicators for the same period last year, ranking.kz wrote Sept. 25.
"The number of the made claims was 117,500, which is 9.3 percent less than in January-July last year. The largest number of claims was on voluntary personal insurance – 65,500, 8.3 percent less than last year. The number of claims on compulsory insurance amounted to 42,200, which is 9.3 percent less than a year earlier. The smallest number of claims was in the segment of voluntary property insurance – 9,800, which is 14.1 percent less than in January-July last year," the message says.
It is also noted that the annual increase in the number of insurance payments was due to the growth of payments for voluntary personal insurance by 2.5 times, to 337,900 in January-July 2018. The number of payments for compulsory insurance was 40 ,000, which is eight percent less than a year earlier.
The number of payments for voluntary property insurance amounted to 7,700, 6.4 percent less than last year.
