Azerbaijan's Azintelecom LLC will commission SaaS (Software as a Service) in 2019, the company told Trend on Oct. 29.
SaaS is a model of using business applications in the format of internet services. SaaS applications run on the servers of the service provider and users rent them through an internet browser. The advantages of SaaS are low cost of software ownership, mobility, less requirements for PC resources, etc.
Presently, Azintelecom offers IaaS (Infrastructure as a Service), which allows consumers to manage processing and storage facilities, as well as computing resources on which operating systems and applications can be installed for their own purposes.
