Samarkand Automobile Plant (SAP) LLC has been exempted from value added tax, Trend reports with reference to Uzbek media.
This information stated in presidential decree "On the forecast of the main macroeconomic indicators and parameters of the State Budget of Uzbekistan Republic for 2019 and budget guidelines for 2020-2021”.
SAP LLC has been producing buses and trucks of small and medium capacity for almost 20 years and has carried on the production under the Japanese brand "Isuzu" since 2007.
The plant produces 4 models of buses and 5 models of trucks. The model range includes the main models of small class Isuzu NP 37 on the chassis of Japanese model, low-floor buses of the small class Isuzu LE-60, trucks and other special cars.
Uzbekistan's State Statistics Committee emphasizes that SAP reduced bus production by 10 percent from 1057 in 2017 to 949 cars in 2018.
