Kazakhstan will simplify access to the markets of foreign countries for its exporters and will strengthen state support measures, Trend reports via Kazakh media.
Speaking at an extended meeting of the board, Industry and Infrastructure Development Minister of Kazakhstan Zhenis Kassymbek noted that these measures constitute non-financial support for exporters and are implemented upon instructions from the head of state.
"As part of strengthening service measures to support exporters, it is planned to provide a simplified access to the markets of China, the UAE and Iran by inviting inspection commissions from these countries to visit the enterprises of Kazakh exporters," the minister said.
He noted that 500 billion tenge was allocated to strengthen measures to support exporters in 2019-2021, including 470 billion tenge for financial measures and 30 billion tenge for non-financial measures.
Financial measures include concessional lending and pre-export financing, as well as provision of state guarantees. Non-financial measures are reimbursement of transportation costs of exporters and service support.
