The Uzbek enterprise Akhangarancement JSC successfully launched into operation a new generation of gearbox on a rotary kiln which was based on the equipment of the Czech company WIKOV, reports Trend with reference to the Uzbek media.
Modernization of the furnace will allow increasing equipment utilization and repairing time.
In addition to replacing the gearbox, the rotary kiln underwent a planned overhaul, which affected the clinker conveyors, the sludge line, the refrigerator, the heat exchanger and other equipment. Total investments amounted to over $1.5 million.
These measures will enable Akhangarancement to produce high-quality products throughout the construction season and operate at maximum production capacity, which is 2 million tons of cement per year.
The installation of Czech company’s equipment was made under the surveillance of supervisor. The new gearbox is easy to maintain, has a compact size and high level of security.
