In January 2019, 68 construction companies were registered in Turkey, which is by 6.79 percent more compared to January 2018, the Turkish Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges (TOBB) told Trend on March 5.
Moreover, 45 companies rendering IT services were registered in the country in January 2019, which is by 4.5 percent more compared to January 2018.
"In January 2019, 42 companies rendering consulting companies were also registered in Turkey, which is by 4.2 percent more compared to January 2018," the TOBB stated.
Most of companies closed in Turkey in January 2019 accounted for energy companies, TOBB said.
"In January 2019, 92 energy companies were closed in Turkey, which is 23.12 percent more compared to January 2018," TOBB said. “In January 2019, few real estate companies were closed.”
Five real estate sales companies were closed in Turkey in January 2019, which is 1.26 percent more than in January 2018.
In January 2019, 11,400 companies were registered and 5,000 companies were closed in Turkey.
