The production of scooters, motorcycles and tricycles of the Chinese company Lifan was launched in the Namangan region of Uzbekistan, Trend reports with reference to Uzavtosanoat JSC.
On February 27 of this year, the production of bicycles was already launched at the plant.
“Production of scooters, motorcycles and tricycles began at the Norin Moto Bike enterprise in the city of Naryn, Namangan region. Uzavtosanoat and the Chinese company Lifan Group Co. Ltd, which acts as a supplier of component parts for the products, started the production organization agreement,” Uzavtosanoat noted.
The new plant made possible the employment of over 150 people with a further increase to 500 jobs.
Lifan is one of the largest enterprises in China. It specializes in technology development and production, sales and export of automobiles, motorcycles and engines.
Nowadays, the company operates through a network of its own dealerships, which exceeds 10,000 stores around the world.
Lifan Motors owns dealerships in 42 countries.
