The Georgian canning company Kula completed the construction of a new plant in the city of Akhaltsikhe in Georgia, said the founder of the company Vano Goglidze, Trend reports with reference to commersant.ge.
The plant will be commissioned in September 2019. According to Goglidze, the new plant will be focused on organic food.
At the initial stage, the company will produce two types of juices (apple, cherry), but this will not be organic production. After the products are quality-checked, they will be sent to Germany for another check-up and certificate.
Goglidze explains that this process is complex and takes about one year. Work in this direction will cost a total of about $2 million.
“Kula” is one of the brands of the “Gori Feeding Cannery Kula” and under this name almost all types of natural juices, preserves, jams, sauces, salads, marinades, are produced. Fruits and vegetables, from which Kula food items are then produced in Georgia. Their collection and processing is carried out according to Georgian traditions using modern technologies, which contributes to preservation of all the beneficial properties of the products.
The company "Kula" has three plants. All three plants are located in the village of Karaleti, Gori District. The first plant is a canning plant, the second is a meat processing plant, and the third one produces other items of the Kula brand.
