Franco-Italian aircraft manufacturer ATR intends to supply spare parts to Uzbekistan, Trend reports referring to Uzbek media.
A working meeting was held at the Ministry of Transport of Uzbekistan with the delegation of the French-Italian aircraft manufacturer ATR.
Foreign partners conducted a presentation of ATR products, in particular the technical characteristics and economic features of the ATR 72-600 regional aircraft. It was noted that these types of aircraft have economical fuel consumption indicators, read the message.
Following the negotiations, an agreement was reached that the ATR company would prepare a detailed proposal including the economic details and technical aspects of possible cooperation, including training of flight and technical personnel, as well as the supply of spare parts and maintenance.
ATR is a Franco-Italian manufacturer of aeronautical engineering, created in 1981 by the then companies Aérospatiale (now EADS, France) and Aeritalia (now Alenia Aeronautica, Italy). The company manufactures turboprop regional passenger aircraft ATR 42 and ATR 72.
