More than 110 investors expressed readiness to invest in the Imam Khomeini International Airport’s free trade zone, the main international airport in Tehran, said Ali Rostami, managing director of Imam Khomeini Airport City Company, Trend reports citing IRNA.
He added that the special trade zone of the airport company has been operating since 2015.
According to the official, 5-, 10- and 15-year programs are envisioned to expand the company’s operation sphere.
“The ultimate goal of the company is to transport 110 million passengers and over four million tons of cargo per year,” he said.
