Hamlet Garayev has become the legal representative of the recently registered Mega Life Insurance company, which is a subsidiary of Mega Insurance, a source in Mega Insurance told Trend.
As reported, he previously left the board of directors of the parent company, According to the company, shares of Mega Life Insurance will belong to the parent company.
The new insurance company is registered at the same legal address as Mega Insurance OJSC - 19 Ahmad Rajabli street, Narimanov district, Baku city.
The authorized capital of the company is 11 million manat ($6.47 million).
Earlier in September 2019, the Azerbaijani company Mega Life Insurance OJSC was registered by the country's Ministry of Taxes.
Presently, four life insurance companies operate in Azerbaijan - Ateshgah Life Insurance OJSC, Qala Life Insurance, Xalq Life Insurance and PASHA Life Insurance.
