Azerbaijan’s SAB company, producing meat and dairy products, intends to produce a new type of halal sausages, namely, a new type of smoked sausages, a source in the company told Trend.
The production is scheduled to be launched next month, according to the source.
“The company is currently working on the production of other types of sausages, in particular halal sausages,” the source said. “New types of products are intended for domestic sale.
"Until the end of this year, the company plans to increase the production volume of sausages up to 600 - 700 kg per day. Currently, the production volume is about 500 kg,” the source added.
Besides sausages, the company also produces dairy products. The company's dairy products are sold domestically, including in Bravo markets in Baku, the capital.
Presently, the company produces 60 types of meat products and 50 types of dairy products under SAB brand.
The company's production facilities are located in Khirdalan settlement.
