Gazakh Cement Plant LLC, operating in Azerbaijan's Gazakh District, will increase production of building materials, a source in the company told Trend.
In this regard, work on production aimed at increasing the enterprise’s capacity and the installation of new types of equipment, has begun, said the source.
“From January through March 2020, the company produced 208,502 tons of cement, as well as 271,793 tons of clinker. By the end of 2020, it is planned to increase the production of cement and clinker up to 30 percent. The enterprise’s current production volume is 1.2 million tons per year, it is planned to bring this indicator to 1.5-1.6 million tons,” the source noted.
The source also noted that clinker production increased by 10 percent in 2019 compared to 2018, and the volume of cement production exceeded 20 percent.
Gazakh Cement Plant LLC is one of the largest manufacturers of building materials in Azerbaijan. Besides the cement, the enterprise produces concrete and clinker.
The construction of the plant began in 2007 in the village of Dash Salahli, Gazakh district. The production capacity of the plant was calculated for 1.2 million tons of cement per year.
