The construction of a large plant for the production of vegetable oil LLP "Bota-2015" is nearing completion in Kazakhstan’s Akmola region, Trend reports citing Kazinform.
“A modern plant in the region’s Makinsk, Bulandy district, will ensure the processing of oilseeds and, already processed, the finished product will be exported to neighboring markets. According to the plan, the object will be commissioned by the end of 2020,” said the message.
“The enterprise noted that the plant will process 600 tons of raw materials per day. The project cost is 4.2 billion tenge. Currently, construction work is in full swing here. The equipment has already been delivered, assembly work at the warehouses is nearing completion. A railway is also involved in the project. The plant has its own wagons for transporting products. And most importantly, the production site of the plant doesn’t select raw materials and the price of the finished product will be reasonable,” the message said.
“Electricity will be much cheaper. We will receive it directly from the supplier. This, of course, will affect the cost of production. Ultimately, I think the price will be much lower than the market price,” noted the plant’s Director Vasily Borevich.
“The new plant is also a waste-free production. The remaining waste will be sold for feed. With the opening of the enterprise itself, 30 local residents will be employed,” said the report.
According to the agriculture department, 20,000 tons of vegetable oil have been produced to date. The growth is 16 percent. In total, the workload is about 60 percent. These are good indicators.
“The region is experiencing growth in the processing industry. Since the beginning of 2020, only food products have been produced here for 83 billion tenge, which is 10 percent more compared to the same period of last year,” the report said.
