The production indicators of the Azerbaijani Azeripek LLC in 2020 exceeded forecasts, Trend reports referring to the Azerbaijan Industrial Corporation (AIC).
AIC held reporting meeting in the format of a video conference, dedicated to the results of last year and the work ahead.
According to a representative of the corporation, the company’s management thoroughly analyzed the sales opportunities both in the domestic and foreign markets, as a result of which the company's revenue grew through implementing necessary marketing activities.
"In addition to the sale of velvet, silk fabrics and various silk products, Azeripek’s carpet workshop has resumed its activity, which has begun the production of silk carpets," the representative said.
Moreover, during the reporting year, Azeripek took steps to increase the production of kelaghayis (Azerbaijani women’s silk headscarves), bring the product to the world markets in accordance with the requirements of the time and promote the national brand.
