Kazakhstan is planning to further improve the transfer pricing legislation, Kazakh Finance Minister Yerulan Zhamaubayev said, Trend reports citing the ministry.
Zhamaubayev made the statement during the governmental meeting held on September 2 presenting the measures to ensure the immediate execution of the President's orders.
In his words, the Action Plan to counter the shadow economy is being implemented in all spheres and sectors of the economy.
Also, large-scale measures are being taken to remove unnecessary barriers and counter illegal trade at the borders of the state.
“We plan to implement the National System of Traceability of Goods in a full-fledged mode,” Zhamaubayev said.
The minister noted that the modernization of nine auto and one railway checkpoints has begun.
Taking into account international experience, the Ministry has launched a project on horizontal monitoring of large business based on remote interaction.
Comprehensive work is being carried out to counter the outflow of capital abroad and deoffshorization of the economy.
As part of the electronic exchange of information with the OECD and the National Bank, the ministry has signed a multilateral convention.
A three-year moratorium on inspections, introduced in 2020, has reduced cash discipline. Unscrupulous entrepreneurs perceived this initiative as a chance to evade taxes with impunity.
“In this regard, we propose to consider the issue of lifting the moratorium on inspections of micro and small businesses. In general, the proposed measures will ensure an increase in state budget revenues,” he said.
