Iran's economic growth was 3.3 percent in the first six months of the current Iranian year (started March 21, 2021), said the head of Central Bank of Iran (CBI), Trend reports citing IRNA.
The economic growth increased more during the first three months of the current year and then declined due to a power outage, Ali Salehabadi noted.
The statistics show that the economic situation is improving although the economic growth is far from the targeted figure, he indicated.
The CBI is expecting economic growth of 8.8 percent for the new Iranian year (starts March 21, 2022) as has been predicted by the budget bill.
