BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 6. Iran's non-oil trade turnover with Kazakhstan decreased by 43 percent in value and 56 percent in volume, during the first three months of the current Iranian year (March 21 through June 21, 2023), compared to the same period in the last year, Trend reports.

According to the data of Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration (IRICA), the trade turnover between the two countries amounted to nearly 142,000 tons worth approximately $56.7 million in 3 months.

Meanwhile, Iran’s non-oil trade turnover with Kazakhstan stood at about 323,000 tons worth $99.3 million, in the same period of the last Iranian year.

The main goods traded between Iran and Kazakhstan for the reporting period included agricultural and food products, tobacco products, petrochemical products, wheat, barley, various types of equipment and etc.

In the 3rd month of the current Iranian year alone (May 22 through June 21, 2023), the two country’s non-oil trade was 53,400 tons worth approximately $18.9 million.

Overall, Iran's non-oil trade turnover amounted to 44.1 million tons worth $26.5 billion within the first three months of the current Iranian year.
