BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 13. Saudi companies will attend the Azerbaijan-Gulf Cooperation Council Economic Forum and Baku Climate Week in September in Baku, Trend reports via the Azerbaijan Export and Investment Promotion Agency (AZPROMO).
The Executive Director of AZPROMO, Yusif Abdullayev, and the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Saudi Arabia, Issam bin Saleh Al-Qutaili, discussed preparations for the events.
"The executive director emphasized the importance of strengthening ties between the business communities of Azerbaijan and Saudi Arabia and the implementation of mutual investment projects to enhance trade and economic relations between the two countries. AZPROMO plays an active role in coordinating relations between entrepreneurs," the agency's statement noted.
The sides also underscored the significance of the Azerbaijan-Gulf Cooperation Council Economic Forum, scheduled for September 26 in Baku.
The ambassador praised the strong political relations between Saudi Arabia and Azerbaijan, noting the vast potential for developing economic cooperation.
He announced that on September 30, a delegation of up to 70 major Saudi companies will visit Azerbaijan, with meetings arranged with local entrepreneurs.
