ASTANA, Kazakhstan, July 3. The Kazakh company Molkom-Pavlodar announced the launch of the first industrial production line in Kazakhstan for hypoallergenic milk that does not contain the beta-casein A1 protein, Trend reports, citing the Ministry of Agriculture of Kazakhstan.
Based on the data, the operational framework will be established
in the Pavlodar region, concentrating on the production of A2-type
milk—a commodity distinguished by its enhanced digestibility and
safety profile for individuals with sensitivities to conventional
bovine milk.
“The initiative was made feasible through the acquisition of
genetically verified breeding cattle exhibiting the A2A2 genotype,
facilitating the generation of milk devoid of the A1 protein.” As
articulated by Vyacheslav Ruf, the visionary behind
Molkom-Pavlodar, the production of hypoallergenic milk has reached
a significant scale and is experiencing robust market demand across
various global territories, including New Zealand, Japan, the UAE,
France, and Germany. Concurrently, within the CIS markets,
encompassing Russia and Kazakhstan, the availability of this
product remains constrained,” the statement articulates.
A2 milk, characterized by its hypoallergenic properties, is devoid
of beta-casein A1, a protein that, as evidenced by clinical
research, may elicit adverse reactions in individuals exhibiting
intolerance to conventional dairy products.
The initiation of the novel production line is anticipated to
catalyze opportunities for the establishment of a comprehensive
hypoallergenic dairy ecosystem in Kazakhstan, thereby augmenting
food security metrics and bolstering public health outcomes.
