ASTANA, Kazakhstan, July 4. Akim (Governor) of
the Mangystau region of Kazakhstan, Nurdaulet Kilybay, discussed
with representatives of the German company Bioworks the
implementation of projects to ensure sustainable water supply in
the region, including the construction of a desalination plant and
the modernization of the KOS-1 sewage treatment plant, Trend reports.
As Kilybay noted, at present, a multitude of substantial
initiatives targeting the comprehensive eradication of the hydric
shortfall are being executed within the region.
“We are ready to support all initiatives aimed at improving the
well-being of the population and ensuring sustainable development.
It is important for us to work in cooperation with investors and
technology companies. In the near future, we will thoroughly work
out the projects and make the appropriate decisions,” Kilybay
said.
