"PetroKazakhstan Oil Products" LP processed 4.857 million tons of oil in 2013, which is 4.72 percent higher than the planned volume, according to the information of "KazMunaiGas - processing and marketing". This volume is the highest indicator in the last 20 years.
According to the information, in 2013, the production of petroleum-92 grew by 8.78 percent and diesel fuel - by 6.67 percent. The production of associated gas reduced by 6.59 percent, vacuum gas oil - by 18.46 percent.
According to the report, the development, negotiations with plenipotentiary state bodies and approval of design estimates documentation on the modernization project of the enterprise have been completed.
Construction and installation work on the reconstruction of the equipment of hydro treating of diesel fuel and construction of the equipment of the sulfur production with the productivity of 4 000 tons per year are being conducted, according to the information.
The implementation of the modernization project and reconstruction of "PetroKazakhstan Oil Products" is directed at the increase of the production of light oil products in accordance with ecology classes K-4 and K-5 using new technological equipment, restoration of the project capacity of the plant to six million tons per year and increase of the depth of processing to 90 percent.
