Electricity consumption in Georgia excluding losses, amounted to 1.815.59 billion kilowatt/hours in Jan-Feb. 2014, which is five percent more than in the same period of 2013, Georgia's Electricity System Commercial Operator (ESCO) told Trend on March 26.
Electricity consumption in Georgia including losses amounted to almost 1.851.25 billion kilowatt/hours during the reporting period.
Additionally, Georgian consumers and power distributing companies were provided with 236.08 million kilowatt/hours and 1.579.51 billion kilowatt/hours of electricity in Jan-Feb. respectively.
Thermal Power Plants (TPPs), as well as other power plants in Georgia generated 1.645.03 billion kilowatt/hours electricity in Jan-Feb. 2014.
Georgia imported some 211.93 million kilowatt/hours of electricity in Jan-Feb. 2014. The country hasn't exported electricity during the reporting period.
In total, electricity consumption in Georgia amounted to 10.140.6 billion kilowatt/hours electricity in 2013.
