The import of lubricants into Georgia amounted to 1,800 tons in September 2019, which is 200 tons more than in August, Trend reports referring to the Georgia's Union of Petroleum Products Importers.
In September 2019, the largest volume of imports of lubricants was from Iran - 410 tons, which is 22.8 percent of total imports. Turkey follows with 380 tons (21.1 percent), then come Russia - 250 tons (13.9 percent), Germany - 200 tons (11.1 percent) and others.
The import of lubricants from January to September of 2019 amounted to 14,700 tons, which is 800 tons more than the same period last year.
In August 2019, the import of lubricants into Georgia amounted to 1,600 tons, which is 200 tons less than in July.
Import of lubricants to Georgia from January to August 2019 amounted to 12,800 tons, exceeding the figure of the same period last year by 500 tons.
Import of aviation fuel to Georgia in September 2019 amounted to 5,400 tons, which is 7,400 tons less than in August.
According to countries, in September 2019, the largest volume of aviation fuel imports fell on Turkmenistan – 3,100 tons, which is 57.4 percent of total imports. Next follow Egypt with 1,700 tons (31.5 percent), Turkey - 600 tons (11.1 percent).
From January to September of this year, aviation fuel imports amounted to 80,800 tons, which is 5,500 tons more than in the same period last year (75,300 tons).
In August 2019, aviation fuel imports to Georgia amounted to 12,800 tons, which is 1,800 tons more than in July.
From January to August of this year, aviation fuel imports amounted to 75,500 tons, which is 10,500 tons more than in the same period last year (65,000 tons).
