The Turkish Competition Authority (TCA) approved the acquisition of the local Naturelgaz Sanayi ve Ticaret A.S. of SOCAR Turkey LNG Satis company, a liquefied natural gas (LNG) trading company, Trend reports referring to the TCA.
A 95.5-percent subsidiary of Global Investment Holdings company, Naturelgaz Sanayi ve Ticaret A.S, and a leading supplier and distributor of compressed natural gas in Turkey and Europe signed an Agreement in February 2020 to purchase 100 percent of SOCAR Turkey LNG.
SOCAR Turkey LNG has been operating as a subsidiary of SOCAR Turkey since 2013. The company is licensed to sell liquefied natural gas and compressed natural gas from the Energy Market Regulatory Agency (EMRA).
SOCAR Turkey LNG offers liquefied natural gas and compressed natural gas for industrial use, as well as LNG as an alternative fuel for vehicle fleets of institutions operating in sectors such as industry, tourism, construction, transport. The company currently has 10 stations.
