Uzbekneftegaz JSC is completing installation of equipment at the Mubarek Gas Processing Plant (GPP) in Uzbekistan as part of its modernization projects, Trend reports citing Ukrainian Sumy Machine-Building Science and Production Association (Sumy NPO).
The launch of one of the units is scheduled for August 2020.
“The capacities of the Sumy NPO were used to manufacture equipment for four projects in Uzbekistan. Two of them are in the process of being installed. The equipment is scheduled to go into operation in August. Shipments of the equipment took place in the period from March through April 2020,” the message said.
Simultaneously, a process heater, which includes a separator for the fourth line of the Mubarek gas processing plant is being manufactured at the Sumy NPO.
JSC Sumy NPO (Sumy city, Ukraine) is one of the largest engineering complexes in Europe producing equipment for oil, gas, nuclear and chemical industries.
In total, three gas processing enterprises operate in Uzbekistan: Mubarek Gas Processing Plant, Shurtan Gas Processing Plant and Shurtan Gas Chemical Complex.
Construction of the Ustyurt Gas Chemical Complex on the basis of the Surgil field is scheduled to be competed in September 2020.
