An industrial flow of gas at the well No. 232 Urtabulak was received in the Mubarek oil and gas production department in the Kashkadarya region of Uzbekistan, Trend reports citing Dunyo news agency.
The industrial gas flow was obtained by the international oil service company ERIELL Group with the participation of Uzbekneftegaz JSC.
According to the Ministry of Energy, the drilling of well No. 232 Urtabulak was carried out within the framework of the "Program to increase hydrocarbon production for 2017-2021" from January 21 to April 18, 2020, and after testing and receiving on October 25 of this year industrial gas inflow it was completed.
After the hydraulic fracturing operation, this marginal well produced an industrial flow of gas with a flow rate of 230,000 cubic meters, as well as 26 tons of gas condensate per day at a design depth of 2,900 meters.
ERIELL Group and Uzbekneftegaz continue to work actively within the framework of the "Program to increase hydrocarbon production for 2017-2021" in compliance with all precautions during the COVID-19 pandemic.
