The Lebapgazchykarysh department of Turkmenistan’s Turkmengas State Concern has produced more than 10.2 billion cubic meters of natural gas since early 2021, which is by 45 percent more compared to the same period of last year, Trend reports referring to the Business Turkmenistan online publication.
Thus, as a result, the department fulfilled the annual plan for natural gas production ahead of schedule. This has been stipulated by an increase in the productivity of existing wells and the repair of obsolete wells.
The specialists of Lebapgazcykarys repaired 17 wells during the first half of this year. The repair is also underway at the Malay, Kerpichli, and Kukurtli fields.
The measures of modernizing the equipment of gas compressor stations and other big facilities of the Marygazcykarys, Lebapgazchykarysh, and Turkmengazakdyrys departments, which produce natural gas, engaged in high-quality preparation and uninterrupted supply to consumers, were planned to be taken in the country since 2020.
