BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 18. The management of SOCAR Türkiye Enerji AS (the Turkish subsidiary of the State Oil Company of the Azerbaijan Republic) will take part in the 26th World Energy Congress to be held on April 22–25 in Rotterdam, Netherlands, CEO of SOCAR Türkiye Elchin Ibadov said on social media, Trend reports.
"On April 24, as part of the Global Energy Congress in Rotterdam, I will participate in discussions at a session dedicated to Türkiye's strategic position in the global energy sector," he said.
Türkiye Energy and Natural Resources Minister Alparslan Bayraktar will deliver the keynote speech at the session.
"The debates will serve as an exchange of ideas on how to maximize Türkiye's potential in contributing to a sustainable and secure future for the globe," Ibadov said.
To note, SOCAR Türkiye Enerji AS is the largest investor in Türkiye's economy (a total of $18 billion has been invested over 15 years in several plants and the development of gas distribution networks) and participates in all international and local events related to the development of Türkiye's energy sector.
