BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 16. Azerbaijan produced a total of 9.64 million tons of liquid hydrocarbons from January through April 2024, which is 5.7 percent less than the indicator for the same period in 2023, Trend reports, referring to the State Statistics Committee of Azerbaijan.
Commercial crude oil and condensate accounted for 9.619 million tons of the volume mentioned (a 5.7 percent decrease from January through April 2023).
However, the country produced 30.19 million tons of crude oil together with condensate in 2023, which is 7.5 percent less than in 2022.
To note, the production forecast for 2024 is over 29 million tons of oil with condensate.
