BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 11. About 639.6 million tons of oil (including condensate) and 445.9 bcm of gas (associated and natural) have been produced from the Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli and Shah Deniz blocks from the period of commissioning of these key fields until July 1, 2024, Trend reports, referring to the Azerbaijani Energy Ministry.
Between ACG (beginning in the fall of 1997) and Shah Deniz (beginning in 2007), the aforementioned volume was exported to global markets in the form of circa 637.6 million tons of oil (including condensate) and approximately 158.8 billion cubic meters of gas.
"A total of 593 million tons of oil and 222.9 bcm of associated gas have been recovered from ACG during the entire period of development. About 223 bcm of gas and 46.6 million tons of condensate have been extracted from the Shah Deniz field since December 2006 (the start of development)," the information noted.
