BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 21. Georgia imported 77,800 tons of oil products and oil lubricants worth $62 million from Azerbaijan from January through July 2024, Trend reports.
According to calculations based on the data of the National Statistical Office of Georgia, this is twice as much as the indicator for the same period in 2023 in both value and quantity terms.
Furthermore, Azerbaijan ranked fourth among the countries exporting oil and oil products to Georgia.
Overall, during the reporting period, Georgia imported 770,000 tons of oil and oil products worth $908 million from foreign countries, which is 26.8 percent and 14.8 percent more than a year earlier, respectively.
