BAKU, Azerbaijan, March 17. Azerbaijan’s oil product production from January through February 2025 reached a value of over one billion manat ($588.2 million).
Data obtained by Trend from the State Statistical Committee indicates that this denotes an elevation of 15.6 percent relative to the preceding year's metrics.
During this specified timeframe, the output metrics for gas oils, commonly referred to as diesel fuel, experienced a notable uptick of 19.2 percent, whereas the production figures for white oil demonstrated a robust growth trajectory of 18.3 percent. Moreover, the output metrics for automotive fuel exhibited a surge of 3.3 percent.
Nevertheless, certain sectors encountered a contraction, with petroleum coke output diminishing by 6.4 percent, bitumen yield retracting by 8.1 percent, and lubricant generation plummeting by 31.9 percent.
