ASTANA, Kazakhstan, July 15. In the first half
of 2025, Kazakhstan increased its oil production volume by 11.6
percent, said Minister of Energy Yerlan Akkenzhenov at a meeting of
the Government of Kazakhstan chaired by Prime Minister Olzhas
Bektenov, Trend
reports.
According to him, the total production volume currently approaches
50 million tons, with ambitious plans to nearly double output to 96
million tons by 2025.
“As for oil export deliveries, they also increased by almost 12
percent. This year, the export volume amounted to 39.6 million
tons,” the minister noted.
Meanühile, forecasts suggest that by the end of 2025, the oil
export volume is expected to reach 70.5 million tons, which is 2
percent higher than the actual figures for 2024.
Today, a meeting is taking place in the Government of Kazakhstan,
where the agenda includes discussions on the results of
socio-economic development and the execution of the republican
budget for January-June 2025
