Azerbaijan’s ASB Bank JSC completed the first half of 2019 with a net profit of 5.15 million manats, while the first half of the previous year was completed with a profit of 4.7 million manats, Trend reports with reference to financial report of the bank.
Over the year, the bank increased its profit by 9.4 percent, according to the report.
The bank’s net profit was formed at the expense of interest income of 13.05 million manats (a decline of 29.9 percent for the year) and non-interest income of 6.53 million manats (an increase of 32.2 percent for the year).
The interest expenses at the end of June of this year amounted to 6.93 million manats (a decline of 30.3 percent), while non-interest expenses stood at 5.77 million manats (a decline of 31.6 percent).
Operating income for the year increased by 35.4 percent and amounted to 6.88 million manats compared to 5.08 million manats for the same period last year.
