Azerbaijan’s AccessBank completed 2019 with the net profit worth 4.7 million manat ($2.8 million), while the loss amounted to 8.8 million manat ($5.2 million) in late 2018, Trend reports referring to the bank’s audited financial annual report.
On an annualized basis, the bank’s loss decreased by almost twofold.
In accordance with the audited report, net interest income amounted to 49.8 million manat that’s $29.3 million (an increase of 41.7 percent) and was formed from interest income worth 98.1 million manat that’s $57.7 million (an increase of 12.9 percent for the year) and interest expenses worth 48.2 million manat that’s $28.3 million (a decrease of 6.6 percent).
The non-interest income of the bank amounted to 36.6 million manat that’s $21.5 million (11.3 million manat loss that’s $6.6 million in 2018). The non-interest expenses amounted to 71.1 million manat that’s $41.8 million (an increase of 18 percent) in late December 2019. The operating loss was formed in the amount of 34.5 million manat that’s $20.3 million.
