It was decided to increase the capital of the National Iranian Copper Industries Company (NICICO) by 97 percent, Trend reports citing the company’s website.
The decision was made at a meeting attended by the executive director of the NICICO, shareholders, and other officials.
According to the report, the capital of the National Iranian Copper Industries Company amounted to 101 billion rials (about $2.41 billion).
The Executive Director of the company, Ardashir Sad Mohammadi noted that the company's revenues amounted to 230 trillion rials (about $5.49 billion) during the first eight months of the current Iranian year (from March 20 through November 20, 2020).
“This is an increase of 72 percent compared to the same period last Iranian year,” the director said.
