Azerbaijan's Bank BTB completed the second quarter of 2021 with a net profit of 538,000 manat ($316,470), while the bank ended the same period of last year with a loss of 107,000 manat ($62,941), Trend reports citing the bank's financial report on July 14.
In accordance with the report, the net interest income of Bank BTB amounted to 4.8 million manat ($2.8 million) and was formed through interest income in the amount of 12.3 million manat $7.2 million (decrease of 7.3 percent for the year) and interest expenses of 7.5 million manat $4.4 million (increase for the year by 12.7 percent).
The bank's non-interest income amounted to 2.8 million manat $1.6 million (an increase of 22 percent). Non-interest expenses at the end of the quarter reached 7.5 million manat $4.4 million (decrease of 6.4 percent).
Bank BTB's operating profit amounted to 108,000 manat ($63,529), has decreased by 88.2 percent for the year.
Thus, the bank completed the second quarter of 2021 with a net profit of 538,000 manat ($316,470).
