BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 26. Total assets of Azerbaijan’s Bank of Baku increased in the third quarter of 2022, Trend reports on October 26 via the bank's balance report.
According to the report, this figure amounted to 654.1 million manat ($384.7 million), up by 159.6 million manat ($93.8 million manat), or 32.29 percent on annual basis.
The largest share (81.31 percent) in the structure of assets was the loan portfolio, which grew by 29.88 percent over the year to 531.9 million manat ($312.8 million).
From July through September 2022, about 3.73 percent of Bank of Baku assets were investments in securities – 24.36 million manat ($14.33 million).
Another nearly 8.54 percent of the bank’s total assets were cash and cash equivalents, which amounted to 55.8 million manat ($32.8 million).
Other assets of the bank in the third quarter of this year equaled 19.9 million manat ($11.7 million).
