BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 10. A total of 291,000 ASAN Imza certificates were issued in Azerbaijan from January through September 2023, Trend reports.
According to the State Tax Service of Azerbaijan, 476,445 people were admitted to taxpayer service centers, and 860,402 services were provided to them, of which 209,000 were consultations (answers to questions related to tax legislation and administration), and more than 193,000 were related to electronic services (assistance in drafting and sending electronically declarations and reports, as well as various statements) from January through September 2023.
In general, 87.9 percent of the total number of electronic services were 10 types of services (excluding consulting services and the provision of ready-made documents), such as submission of declarations (reports), certificates on the calculation of current tax payments to tax authorities; issuance and reissue of a user code and password for the exchange of electronic documents; issuance of a receipt for the payment of a fixed amount of simplified contributions tax, compulsory state social insurance and compulsory medical insurance; termination of the taxpayer's activity; change of the taxpayer's account details; registration and re-registration of an individual; issuance of certificates to the taxpayer; issuance of Asan Imza certificates; restoration of the taxpayer's activities; as well as de-registration of an individual.
In addition, about 22,900 written appeals from taxpayers were answered, more than 9.1 million information notifications (letters) of various types were sent, and more than 1.3 million SMS messages were sent from January through September. During the reporting period, 203 meetings were held with the participation of 2,454 taxpayers, and targeted services were provided to 3,675 taxpayers.
