BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 15. The net profit of Azerbaijani Bank BTB at the end of the second quarter of 2024 amounted to 226 thousand manat, marking a year-on-year decrease of 26.99 percent, Trend reports.
According to the bank's financial report, its net interest profit amounted to 5.942 million manat, or $3.49 million. This was generated by interest income of 15.416 million manat or $9.07 million (up 5.08 percent year-on-year) and interest expenses of 9.453 million manat or $5.56 million (up 1.04 percent).
Bank BTB's non-interest income amounted to 2.562 million manat, or $1.5 million, reflecting a year-on-year growth of 17.2 percent. The bank's non-interest expenses reached 6.199 million manat, or $3.64 million, a decrease of 5.86 percent.
Profit before taxes and unforeseen expenses related to banking activity amounted to 226,000 manat, or $132,941.
To note, Bank BTB OJSC received its license for banking activity in Azerbaijan in April 2010.
