BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 24. The volume of remittances by individuals from Ireland to Azerbaijan amounted to $2.4 million in the first quarter of 2024, Trend reports.
According to calculations based on the data of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan, this indicator increased by 23.66 percent compared to the same period last year.
The share of transfers from Ireland in the total volume of transfers is 0.8 percent.
Furthermore, the volume of remittances by individuals from Ireland to Azerbaijan amounted to $8.77 million by the end of 2023.
To note, the volume of remittances by individuals from foreign countries to Azerbaijan amounted to $1.6 billion by the end of 2023.
