BAKU, Azerbaijan, December 27. The foreign direct investment (FDI) from Azerbaijan to Kazakhstan amounted to $8.2 million from January through September 2024, Trend reports.
The data obtained by Trend from the country's Central Bank shows that this figure increased by 48.44 percent, or $2.7 million, compared to the same period last year.
The share of FDI from the country in the total volume of FDI in Kazakhstan is 0.6 percent.
In turn, FDI from Kazakhstan to the economy of Azerbaijan amounted to $9.259 million (a decline of 6.85 percent and a share of 0.2 percent). In the same period last year, FDI from Kazakhstan to the country totaled $9.94 million.
To note, FDI in the economy of Azerbaijan amounted to $6.658 billion (growth by 6.1 percent) by the end of 2023.
