ASTANA, Kazakhstan, July 6. The average daily load on the Interbank Clearing System from January through May 2025 reached 321.900 payment messages, which is 44.1 percent more than the previous year.
The data obtained by Trend from the country's National Bank indicates that
the transaction volume also increased by 32.9 percent, to 59.2
billion tenge (approximately $112.5 million) per day.
For comparison, in 2024 an average of 223.400 messages were
processed daily for a total amount of 44.6 billion tenge
(approximately 84.7 million). This growth indicates the
increasingly active use of the ICS not only by banks but also by
clients for everyday transactions.
The growth in the Interbank Clearing System’s indicators reflects the sustainable development of the banking sector and the digitalization of payment services in Kazakhstan. In the coming years, a further increase in transaction volumes is expected, which will become an important factor in improving the efficiency of financial flows and convenience for users throughout the country.
