BCCA to host sustainable development and climate innovation forum in Baku

BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 28. The British Chamber of Commerce in Azerbaijan (BCCA) has announced that an international forum on sustainable development and climate innovation will be held in Baku in September, Trend reports via BCCA.

The information notes that the Forum will be held on September 12 at the JW Marriott Hotel with the support of the British Embassy, Great Challenge Fund, UN Office in Azerbaijan, and John Patterson Events Company.

The key topics of the event are 1) the latest business innovations in air carbon capture, energy transfer, Net Zero in construction and residential building stock, green hydrogen, and digital development, 2) ESG in transportation and urban transportation systems, and 3) Smart Cities Index.

The speakers include Vladanka Andreeva (UN Resident Coordinator in Azerbaijan), Anthony Hobley (Deputy Chairman of the Climate Risk and Sustainability Department of Howden Group), John Patterson, Head of the British Chamber of Commerce in Azerbaijan, Nigar Arpadarai, representative of the COP29 Chairmanship team, and others.
