BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 29. The State Administration of Radio Frequencies and the Information Communication Technologies Agency held trainings for volunteers who will participate in works in the field of radio frequencies in preparation for the 29th session of the Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP29) to be held in Baku, Trend reports via Azerbaijan's Ministry of Digital Development and Transportation.
Meanwhile, it was noted that the trainings, conducted by relevant managers and specialists of the State Administration of Radio Frequencies and the Agency for Information Communication Technologies, were organized at the COP29 Volunteer Center.
According to the training program, the volunteers were provided with detailed information about the radio-electronic means to be used in the Baku Olympic Stadium and adjacent areas and radio monitoring equipment. At the same time, presentations were made via the COP29 radio spectrum management portal on registration, labeling of relevant equipment, and the importance of these processes. The training sessions, organized interactively, explained to the volunteers the procedures for checking the registration and marking of wireless equipment of accredited local and foreign user groups at the COP29 event and other processes.
The training demonstrated the principle of operation of the radio monitoring equipment to be used during the event and provided answers to the volunteers' questions.
The conducted training not only improved the knowledge and skills of the volunteers but also assisted them in gaining a more detailed understanding of the relevant equipment and practical work.
